Terms of Service

1. Studio Rental Agreement

By booking a session at mutsemdrer (located at 240 Richmond St W, Toronto, ON M5V 1V6), you agree to these Terms of Service. All studio bookings are subject to schedule confirmation and engineer availability.

2. Session Pricing & Payment

The standard studio session is priced at 190 EUR for a 2-hour production block, covering in-studio engineer oversight, 4-mic dynamic audio recording, and 3-camera 4K video capture. Payment instructions and currency equivalents are confirmed upon session reservation. Overtime exceeding the scheduled block is charged in 30-minute increments at 50 EUR per half-hour, subject to studio calendar availability.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

  • More than 48 Hours Notice: Sessions may be rescheduled to another available date without penalty.
  • Within 48 Hours: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session start are subject to a 50% studio reservation charge to cover reserved engineer time.
  • No-Shows: Forfeiture of the full session reservation fee.

4. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership

You retain 100% ownership of all sound recordings, video footage, transcriptions, and creative content generated during your studio time. mutsemdrer asserts zero claim over client intellectual property and will not broadcast, stream, or license your recorded media without explicit written authorization.

5. Equipment Use & Studio Conduct

mutsemdrer provides calibrated high-end equipment (Shure SM7B microphones, Cloudlifter preamps, Sony cinema cameras, and studio consoles). Clients and their guests are expected to treat the facility with reasonable care. Willful damage or reckless behavior resulting in hardware failure may incur repair or replacement costs.

6. Limitation of Liability

mutsemdrer maintains redundant multitrack recording systems to safeguard file integrity. In the unlikely event of an unrecoverable hardware or power failure during a session, our liability is strictly limited to re-booking the affected studio time at zero charge.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
